Which table bases are suitable for outdoor use?
All three of our core material options are suitable for outdoor use, but each excels in different environmental conditions:
— Best for general outdoor use. Naturally corrosion-resistant, no coating required. Lightweight for easy rearrangement. Ideal for rooftop bars, sidewalk cafés, and covered patios.
— Strong rust protection through electrophoretic deposition plus powder coating overcoat. Suitable for semi-covered outdoor dining and garden restaurant settings. Avoid prolonged exposure to standing water or salt spray.
— Maximum corrosion resistance. Recommended for harsh environments: coastal restaurants, poolside areas, tropical climates with high humidity. Brushed or polished finish maintains appearance even under continuous weather exposure.
Choosing Guide:
Mild climate, covered outdoor → Aluminum or electrophoretic iron
High humidity, uncovered → Aluminum or 304 stainless steel
Coastal/saltwater → Aluminum or 304 stainless steel
